State Committee for European Integration

The State Committee for European Integration (SCEUI) is established as the highest body that ensures the coordination of political and / or negotiating positions for each negotiation chapter, before the respective decision-making in the Council of Ministers, and oversees key issues in the implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement.
SCEUI is chaired by the Prime Minister and is composed of the following:

  The Head of the State Delegation, the Minister responsible for European integration;

Chief Negotiator
 
 The Minister responsible for justice;
 

 The Minister responsible for finance;

 The Minister responsible for internal affairs;
 
 The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers.
 

The State Committee for European Integration comprises, according to the topic of discussion, related to each chapter of the European Union acquis, the minister covering the relevant area of ​​state responsibility. Representatives of other subordinate institutions as well as heads of independent institutions are also invited to attend, according to the issue under discussion. The State Committee for European Integration is supported by the Secretariat of European Integration.
